I normally don’t solicit people for likes, @ replies and that sort of thing, but my co-worker, Jenni Hogan, stands a very good chance of being a Shorty Awards finalist and could use all the support you’re willing to give as she moves into the last week of voting.
(Full disclosure: I’m unofficially KIRO’s social media manager, though to be fair, a Jenni Hogan Shorty win would not exactly be a reflection of my hard work so much as hers. Just thought you should know.)
Jenni has said it’s her dream to win a Shorty Award, and she’s inserted a charitable component into the voting: For every vote she gets, Bravado Designs will donate a maternity bra to a mother in need.
This is exactly the kind of thing Jenni does so well on Twitter — she uses her reach and popularity (on Twitter and on TV) to leverage support for a good cause.
