By now, we’ve all pretty well established our preferred breaking news sources on Twitter. Today’s horrible (apparent) bombing in Oslo, Norway, however, is turning into a Google+’s first real journalistic test.
Mashable has a pretty good write-up on what’s working well (we’re not limited to 140 characters) and what’s not working so well (search, ironically).
Here’s who I’m following:
- Cory Bergman (BreakingNews.com and my boss at Lost Remote)
- Andy Carvin (NPR)
- Dan Patterson (“broadcast journalist” recommended by Carvin)
- Raymond K (“Norwegian. Technologist. Non-geek.” Also recommended by Carvin)
- Editor Josh (msnbc.com)
