Want to help report on the Alaskan Way Viaduct closure?

Starting October 21, the Alaskan Way Viaduct — one of only two major north/south highways leading into Seattle — will close for nine days. During that time, most everyone’s life will be a disaster, but none so much as those of us who live in West Seattle and use the Viaduct as our main route into the city.

My coworker and KIRO 7 Traffic Reporter Jenni Hogan is getting out in front of the mess by curating a Twitter List of West Seattle commuters who will Tweet traffic conditions, alternative routes, etc. during the closure:

If you live in West Seattle and you want to help out, tweet Jenni and let her know.
